Space-Plug's are Adjustable Spacer Fixings. Between them our 3 fixings cover gaps from 15mm-80mm. You “can” use a piece of wood, or a piece of pipe but Space-Plug's are designed to speed up installation so you don't have to waste your time measuring and cutting up bits of off cuts to fill the gap. If you need the job to be “Bob On” you’ve got inherent adjustment to meet the exact adjustment and they give a professional looking finish whilst waiting for those templaters! In other words they’re faster, adjustable, designed for the job and professional… we think that’s worth around a fiver a kitchen!

Are you able to move an angle bracket around the back of the cabinet to locate a stud to secure to? With Space-Plug you can! Are you able to drill once and screw once with an angle bracket? With Space-Plug you can! This is a patented low cost fixing, invented by a kitchen fitter FOR kitchen fitters to speed up kitchen installation by removing the hassle of fiddly angle brackets. They are one of those products, once you have used them, you never go back!

Currently Wren, Magnet and Commodore include our fixings in the box. We are working hard to ensure that more manufacturers swap out their fiddly 'L' brackets for our fixings. If you like the idea but don’t want the expense tell your manufacturer to adopt them!!! … then tell us who you told and we’ll follow up for you!

That is entirely up to you and the specification of the kitchen you are installing. Some installers like to use 1 per cabinet, others only use a couple on a run of units to create a strong fixing, some like to double up. So, in short, whatever you feel makes a secure fixing to the wall! Remember walls are not always straight, our fixings adjust and can be used anywhere on the back of the cabinet giving you the flexibility to find a secure anchor - try doing that with a fiddly angle bracket!

Moulding threaded parts is not the easiest. Recycled materials have a certain amount of the “unknown” in their properties making them slightly tougher to use. Things are improving all the time though; we want to be as kind as we can to the planet and constantly reviewing this possibility.

Naturally people are concerned with plastic products these days. Have no fear with Space- Plug. Not only are we fully recyclable but even better! Fully re-usable! No need to waste any energy recycling!

The central bore hole is 6.5mm diameter.

The Space-Plug “Mini” size will fit 15mm to 35mm gaps. The Space-Plug “Regular” size will fit 30mm to 50mm gaps. The Space-Plug “XL” size will fit 45mm to 80mm gaps.
